Question 1

Can I change plans at any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade from your account settings. Changes take effect immediately. There are no contracts or commitments — all plans are month-to-month.

Question 2

What happens if I hit my plan limits?

Accepted Answer

You'll see a prompt to upgrade. Your existing data is never deleted or restricted — you just won't be able to add projects, zones, team seats, or vendors beyond your plan's limits until you upgrade. Deliveries are unlimited on every plan.

Question 3

Do vendors need to pay for an account?

Accepted Answer

No. Vendors use the Vendor Portal through your plan at no cost to them, and they never take one of your team seats. They create a free vendor account to submit and track their booking requests.

Question 4

What does the Free plan include?

Accepted Answer

The Free plan includes 1 project, 5 zones, 3 team seats, and vendor self-booking for up to 3 vendor companies. It gives you the core scheduling and conflict-detection features so you can evaluate GateKeeper on a real project. No credit card required.

Question 5

How many vendors can book through the Vendor Portal?

Accepted Answer

Every plan includes the Vendor Portal, which lets your subcontractors and vendors book their own delivery time slots instead of calling or emailing you. The limit is per project and counts vendor companies, not people: up to 3 per project on Free, 10 on Starter, and unlimited on Professional and Enterprise. A supplier with several dispatchers counts once.

Question 6

Who uses a team seat?

Accepted Answer

Admins, managers, and schedulers each use a team seat. View-only users and vendors are free and don't count toward your plan.

Question 7

Do you offer annual billing?

Accepted Answer

Plans are billed monthly for now. If you would like annual billing, email support@gogatekeeper.com and we will set it up with you.

Question 8

Can I use GateKeeper on my phone?

Accepted Answer

Yes. GateKeeper is a web application that works in any modern browser, including mobile. There's nothing to install — just sign in from your phone on the job site. GateKeeper Crew, a companion Android app for crew task scheduling, is in testing and not yet on Google Play.
